Is COVID-19 Real or Media Hype?

The COVID-19 pandemic is very real. It is frustrating to me when I hear people say that “it is a media stunt.” Or even, “it’s no worse than the flu, stay at home means its time to party”.

Warning: These videos go inside the morgue during the COVID pandemic. I’m not sharing these videos to shock or sensationalize, but instead to show the reality of the situation.

The phrase goes, seeing is believing, not reading is believing. Words can’t reveal as these videos can.

I remember when they started reporting 500 deaths a day and how jaw dropping it was. Somehow some people thought it was a stunt. Many who where shocked then, have become desensitized by the continued reports of deaths around the world.

In conclusion, let's not forget we are human, let us hold on firmly to our humanity. Being numb to the loss of life has to become unacceptable again.

Real people are getting sick, and real people's lives have been cut short because of COVID-19. Healthcare workers are dying at the hand of COVID while trying to spare as many as they can. Some have buckled under the reality and the grief, taking their own lives.  

Please don't throw shit on their graves by saying it's a media stunt or pretending it is a game.
